Located near Prestwick, our client has operations across America and Europe and is continuing to expand with the appointment of a Management Accountant, initially for a 6-month contract. With over 30 years in the industry, our client has a strong sense of purpose, growing through acquisition and expansion of product lines. Typically, working 4 days on site, albeit with a flexible approach to the working environment, the Management Accountant will be involved in project and business-as-usual activity in a commercial finance role.
The Management Accountant will be offered a competitive salary dependent on experience from £50,000 - £60,000 per annum with holidays and pension in addition. It is anticipated that this role will become permanent after a successful first 6 months in post.Your new role
The Management Accountant will primarily be responsible for preparing management accounts and financial reports for the business on a monthly basis. You will provide comprehensive analysis of these reports with commentary and guidance across key business areas. This is a varied role with exposure across an international business with the opportunity to improve processes and procedures along the way.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have some experience working in a large complex business with extensive Management Accounting experience gained across your career to date. Strong Excel, IFRS and SOX experience would be highly advantageous but not essential.
