Your new company

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected accountancy practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality service to a diverse range of clients. The firm prides itself on its collaborative and supportive working culture, offering a professional yet friendly environment where team members are valued and encouraged to grow. Due to continued growth, the firm is now looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Accounts Senior.

Your new role

As an Accounts Senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Your responsibilities will include preparing year-end accounts, managing VAT returns and bookkeeping, and assisting with tax computations. You will also support and review the work of junior staff, liaise directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This is a client-facing role that offers the opportunity to build strong relationships and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience, with at least three years’ experience in a similar role within practice. A strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be proactive, well-organised, and confident using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, flexible working options, and a healthy work-life balance. The firm offers ongoing professional development and training opportunities, a supportive and friendly team environment, and clear opportunities for career progression.
