Your new role

This top-tier architectural firm are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead their expansion in the Republic of Ireland, aligning with the Company's overall objectives. Roles & responsibilities will be varied, with further details to be disclosed as part of the upcoming process, but in general related to the following categories:

Strategic Leadership
Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for both establishing and bolstering their presence in RoI, aligning with the company's overall objectives.

Business Development
Identify and secure new business opportunities in the education and leisure sectors, leveraging existing networks and building new client relationships.

Project Oversight
Ensure the successful delivery of projects, maintaining the highest standards of design excellence and client satisfaction.

Team Building
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Financial Management
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the RoI operations, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an established Architect, with relevant educational history and qualifications, with associated membership of RIBA / RIAI. It is envisaged that you will have 15+ years of post-qualification experience, with at least 10 years of working at a senior / leadership level within a practice environment. You'll therefore have demonstrable experience of effective business development and client relationship management & development within the RoI market specifically. You'll possess a strong understanding of the education & leisure sectors, with a portfolio of relevant projects. In a wider sense, you'll display excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills. With this a high-level appointment, you should be comfortable working in such a role, and be open to managing your time between Belfast head office, and Dublin / other company satellite offices throughout Ireland.
