Quantity Surveyor - Northwest - Major Water Framework - Strong Project Pipeline

Your new company:

You will be joining a high-profile and very well-established Civil Engineering Contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex and vital infrastructure projects within the water, highways, and heavy civil sectors. With a very good reputation in the market, they work on projects across the Northwest region and offer a strong pipeline of work for AMP8 as well as excellent opportunities for career progression. Due to continued growth and significant growth, they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, commercial and contractual aspects in relation to civil projects. Your focus will be on procuring subcontractors, preparing and submitting external payment applications, identifying, pricing and negotiating changes. You will also be responsible for valuing and agreeing subcontractor accounts and managing all commercial aspects of the United Utilities Projects. This is a permanent position based out of their Preston office, with hybrid working and flexibility to manage projects close to home.

What you'll need to succeed:

In order to be successful, you will have:
Proven successful track record in the water (clean or waste) industry
Strong people management skills
Experience with NEC3/4 contracts
Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels
BSc, NVQ4, or MSc Qualification
CSCS Card
