Geography Teacher Job – Maternity Cover

Start: September 2025
End: May 2026
Timetable: Full-Time Long-Term

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ‘Good’ Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a full-time and long-term job covering maternity.

We are looking for somebody who has relevant experience working with 11 – 16-year-olds within the last 2 years. Predominantly teaching Geography.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Predominantly teaching Geography

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in geography or a related field
  • QTS Certificate
  • Proven experience teaching Geography or Humanities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
