Your new role
You will lead strategic thinking on workforce issues, developing effective methods for implementing modern people management strategies and best practices. You will be responsible for creating and executing HR strategies, policies, procedures, and guidance, while designing and delivering HR support services across the organisation. Your role will ensure the organisation has an efficient approach to resourcing, along with the development of a skilled, engaged, and empowered workforce, fostering a supportive and inclusive culture.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will oversee the technical delivery of your responsibilities, all while embodying and promoting our core values in your day-to-day work.

As the organisation’s HR expert, you will set the standard in leading people-centred change and offer practical, effective solutions for fostering and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture that reflects our core values. You will ensure that HR services are efficient and operate seamlessly, managing relationships with external service providers to ensure optimal value for money. Additionally, you will deliver key advisory and business support services related to HR, learning, and organisational development across the organisation.

You will take the lead in overseeing the HR function, providing strategic direction to ensure the support offered to managers aligns with the organisation’s goals and supports the achievement of objectives through its people. You will assume full responsibility for all areas related to:
- HR and Organisational Development Strategy
- HR business partnering
- Talent management
- HR policy
- Employment law
- Staff engagement
- Organisational improvement (including cultural transformation)
- Learning and development
- Employee performance management
- Employee health, safety, and wellbeing

You will take charge of delivering our Employee Value Proposition, ensuring that our benefits and practices effectively attract and retain a diverse and talented workforce. You will play a central role in ensuring that the organisation remains a high-performing, innovative entity and a fantastic place to work.
Furthermore, you will lead and support the HR component of the House of Architecture Programme, driving productivity and job satisfaction by establishing the right balance of where and how staff work, embracing the benefits of modern and flexible working practices.
