Your new role

In your new role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality external audit services to a range of clients, from SMEs to multinational companies.

• Delivering high-quality external audits across various industries, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and firm methodologies.
• Leading end-to-end audit processes, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
• Identifying high-risk areas and executing targeted audit procedures with clear documentation of findings.
• Supervising, mentoring, and training junior team members to support their development and maintain audit quality.
• Managing engagement budgets and timelines, ensuring accurate time reporting and cost control.
• Building strong client relationships through effective communication, issue resolution, and value-added insights.
• Continuously developing technical expertise and contributing to improvements in audit methodologies and quality controls.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in your new role, you'll ideally be someone who enjoys working with people.

It would be advantageous to possess the following skills and attributes:

• ACA/CA/ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent internationally recognised accounting qualification.
• Over 3 years of relevant UK audit experience with reputable firms.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, UK GAAP, IFRS, and best practices.
• Proven track record in leading full audit cycles and complex engagements.
• Skilled in managing teams, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality audits.
• Proficient in Caseware and data analysis tools for audit execution.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
