Hays are supporting an established business to recruit a new vacancy in the Group IT function. The position is an Output Document Developer, on a permanent basis. Salary depending on experience is around c£40,000 / £47,000pa region depending on experience and hybrid working 3 days per week on site in Bath.
The role involves creating and modifying templates for printed documents generated from D365, including product labels, sales invoices, certificates, and delivery notes. A basic understanding of the underlying technical infrastructure, such as print servers, would be required.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have hands-on experience in document and label development using Lasernet, NiceLabel, or similar platforms. They should be familiar with ERP environments (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365) and have a solid understanding of document output processes and ERP system integration. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential, particularly in areas such as printing, formatting, and data mapping. Exposure to working in a collaborative, multi-vendor programme environment is highly desirable. Candidates should be familiar with source control and deployment processes in structured development settings and be able to clearly document processes for audit and operational continuity.
