Hays have partnered with a leading telecom provider to appoint an experienced Network Project Manager to an initial 3-month contract. Working alongside the business and technology teams to finalise Phase 1 delivery post-merger, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced network Project Manager looking to step into your next contract ASAP.

Duration: 3 months + potential extension
Working Arrangements: Hybrid (2 days in London office per week)
Rate: £500/day inside via Umbrella

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

As the Network Project Manager, you will come from a strong background in network projects and technologies that equip you with an ability to speak the language with technical teams while driving delivery and stakeholder engagement. Your core duties, and key requirements of the role, include:

• Driving IP connectivity with the network engineering teams in a matrix management environment, utilising a combination of your technical ability and collaboration skills to push the work forward
• Liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the business (up to senior levels), taking technical requirements and translating them for non-technical audiences while also translating high-level requirements into deliverables for delivery teams
• Taking initiative and playing a leadership role across projects, leading/coordinating engineers and prioritising and managing tasks/business demands efficiently and effectively.
• You will possess experience managing and overseeing technical network projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Sound knowledge of OSS, BSS and Network Management tools and systems, as well as knowledge of Optical, IP Packet, Voice, Ethernet, and general IT infrastructure technologies.

Experience in network projects within mergers and acquisitions will be very highly regarded.
