Credit Controller | Office based in Dumfries | Part-time permanent

Your new company

My client is a large family-owned Group Company with a site based in Dumfries. They have a new vacancy for a Credit Controller to join their busy team.

Your new role

As credit controller, your duties will include-

  • Responsibility for customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time and chasing as necessary.
  • Reviewing credit limits to ensure minimum risk to the business.
  • Inputting purchase orders onto the system.
  • Ensuring Supplier Contact Details are kept up to date.
  • Provide reports on a regular basis.
  • Support the wider Finance team, particularly in relation to covering absences such as holidays and sickness.
This is a part-time role-up to 25 hours.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel.
  • Have a strong eye for detail.
  • You have the desire to learn and develop.
