An experienced Electrician is required to work at a high-security site in Lincoln.

Your new company

Hays Recruitment is seeking a qualified Electrician to join a reputable public sector organisation. This role is based at a high-security site near Lincoln, where you will be an integral part of the maintenance department.


Your new role

As an Electrician, you will focus on both reactive and planned maintenance projects within the establishment. Depending on the project’s scope, you may work independently or as part of a team. The client will provide all necessary tools, uniform, and training on keys and radios. The role requires 39 hours of work per week, including weekend cover, for which you will be paid at overtime rates.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must be qualified with appropriate technical qualifications, e.g. City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or above and BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, specifically 18th edition. Proof of qualifications/certificates is essential. You should possess good communication skills, the ability to follow strict procedures, and the initiative to notify senior staff of any issues. An enhanced security clearance, which requires photo ID such as a valid passport or a photo card driving licence, will be conducted by the organisation.
