You will be joining the existing land & grounds team at a large organisation in Midlothian. Due to an increase in budget, they are looking to add a street cleansing operative to their team.

Your new role

Hays are seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team as a Street Cleansing Operative. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our local streets and public areas in Midlothian.

• Maintain cleanliness of streets, parks & other public areas
• Operate street cleaning machinery and equipment
• Collect & dispose of litter and waste
• Report any hazards or issues reported during cleaning operations
• Adhere to health & safety regulations

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a reliable, hard-working individual who is able to work well as part of a team. Due to the mobile nature of the role, you will need to have a valid UK Driving Licence and be able to be in the yard for a 0700 start. You do not need a CSCS card to be considered for this role.

What you'll get in return

You will be offered an immediate start on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant throughout your contract.
