This retail brand in Central London is recruiting for a Sales Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This company is a well-recognised international brand and a market leader in their field. This role operates on a rotating shift pattern across days, nights and weekends.
Your new role
Reporting to the Store Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide excellent service to customers and clients in the store. The duties for this will include:
- Greeting customers, answering their queries, and providing assistance with product selection.
- Processing sales transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
- Assisting in receiving, unpacking, and organising stock in the store.
- Ensuring products are displayed attractively and replenish stock as needed.
- Working towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Keeping the store clean, organised, and safe for customers and staff.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills/requirements:
- Previous experience in a Retail or Customer Service position is highly advantageous.
- Bubbly, confident individual with excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers.
- Highly organised individual with great attention to detail and accuracy.
- A can-do, flexible attitude coupled with a high work ethic and an ability to adapt to new environments and challenges.
