PERMANENT PLANNING COORDINATOR - LOGISTICS - HULL

We are working with a leading third-party logistics provider in Hull, helping to recruit a Planning Coordinator to join a high-performing UK-based team. This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and safety-critical environment, supporting the efficient movement of tank container equipment across Great Britain.

Your new role

This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, legal compliance (especially with Dangerous Goods regulations), and optimal resource utilisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate tank container equipment for new bookings within a designated region
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring availability and cost-effective usage
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements using internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods legislation and support internal audits
  • Collaborate with transport, commercial, and customer service teams
  • Liaise with customers and partners to maintain service levels
  • Analyse planning data to identify trends and propose improvements
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs and scalable planning processes
