An expanding Hull organisation is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team.
Your new company
This expanding family-run business with roots firmly set in Hull is seeking a Credit Controller to join the finance team based at their main office in Hull.
With 4 offices across the UK, the main finance team of 6 sit in the Hull office. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will have full responsibility for the Credit Control function of the group of companies.They will be required to manage the debtors' ledger, initiate and deliver credit control functions and processes to realise and collect as much of the debtor balance as quickly as possible within the expected timeframe, as well as ensure that all receipts are correctly allocated.
You will be required to provide reports and insight on the status of the debtor books and advise Senior Management on a regular basis on the cash flow.
We are looking for a proactive credit controller who enjoys resolving invoice queries and will always pick up the phone over sending an email. The role is initially office-based with hybrid work available after probation of two days per week. Free parking, free gym access, modern offices, friendly team.
You will need a wealth of recent credit control experience, coupled with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
