Your new company

As the Supply Chain Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing sales and purchasing information, communicating with suppliers and customers, and contributing to the financial success of the company.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers. You’ll work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and planning teams to optimise supply chain processes.

Your new role

  • Ordering raw materials to ensure an item is available for planned production
  • Frequent contact with suppliers for any failed or late deliveries.
  • Maintain a weekly delivery schedule
  • Maintain a four-week production plan ensuring problematic items highlighted will be delivered on time
  • Advising production when new sales orders can start
  • Advising production on whether any orders can start early when requested by the Commercial department
  • Liaising with warehouse/Goods In about any delivery discrepancies

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle supply chain disruptions effectively.
