We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Housing Support Worker on a temp to perm basis in Liverpool, where you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality housing support services to vulnerable males facing homelessness, promoting positive lifestyle choices and encouraging independent living.

You'll be taking part in a 3-week rolling rota, working 1 in every 3 weekends. Weekday shifts will either be 7am to 3pm or 1pm to 9pm; weekend shifts will be 8am to 8pm.

Your new role

  • Completing and reviewing individual risk assessments using a person-centred and trauma-sensitive approach

  • Working with colleagues to design and deliver a wide-range of in-house support services to achieve successful outcomes for clients

  • Encouraging positive and healthy lifestyle choices to move on from the service and sustain a tenancy independently

What you'll need to succeed

  • A good understanding of housing management legislation and best practice

  • A good understanding of the welfare benefits system and housing options

  • Enhanced DBS (Update service would be ideal but can be carried out upon shortlisting)

What you'll get in return

  • Competitive salary and paid to scale from day 1

  • Weekly pay initially whilst temp with option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella

  • Average 40 hours per week
