Humanities Teacher needed from September !

Humanities Teacher Job - Leicester-based Secondary School

Start: August 2025
End: Ongoing
Timetable: Part-Time long-term role

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ‘Good’ Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to teach Humanities to Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a part-time and long-term role, with the possibility of going permanent.

We are looking for somebody who has relevant experience working with 11 – 16-year-olds within the last 2 years. Predominantly teaching History with some Geography and RE lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Humanities lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Predominantly teaching History with some Geography and RE lessons

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in History/RS/Geography or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
