Your new role

  • Plan, manage, and oversee audits by setting objectives and scope, identifying and assessing risks, developing budgets and audit programs, and ensuring compliance with Internal Audit methodology.
  • Lead audits and investigative reviews, covering the entire audit life cycle, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, and reporting. Produce reports for each assignment, including agreed management actions with realistic implementation timelines.
  • Liaise with auditors throughout the audit process to agree on issues and develop support for recommended remedial actions.
  • Provide periodic assurance to senior management on the design and operational effectiveness of the Bank’s controls established by the First and Second lines of defence.
  • Conduct gap analysis and advise on improvements to conduct risk systems and controls.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fluency or working proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or IIA are required.
  • Industry experience in financial services is desirable.
  • Candidates with professional practice experience in financial services are preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management, and to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
