Teacher of Geography – South Leicestershire
- Start date: August 2025
- End date: December 2025
- Subject: Geography KS3 – KS5
- Timetable: Full Time
Hays are working in partnership with a ‘Good’ 11-19 Secondary School in a charming market town in South Leicestershire. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher. This is a full-time temporary role with the possibility of going permanent.
This is a friendly and welcoming school that strives to provide all students with a safe, happy, and engaging learning environment where they can be challenged and inspired to reach their full potential. They are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum and strive to instil high aspirations in their students.
For this role, you will be experienced at teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 and 4, including at GCSE. Due to this being a long-term contract, full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, will be required.
Requirements:
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level
- Can teach Geography up to A level, but not desirable
- A passion for education and student success.
