Quantity Surveyor Required For Belfast Design and Construction Consultancy

Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, managing both pre- and post-contract duties. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring project efficiency, profitability, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements, costs, profitability, and value are met.
- Oversee cost planning to optimise financial efficiency.
- Manage contractual administration for both NEC and JCT Standard Forms.
- Lead tender and Bill of Quantities production to support project delivery.
- Implement value engineering strategies for enhanced cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, valuations, and final account agreements.
- Undertake the preparation and processing of quotations.
- Generate cost, value, and reconciliation reports for each assigned project.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria:
- Proven pre- and post-contract experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a relevant role.
- Strong understanding of construction contract conditions.
- Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and database software.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience or a relevant qualification in Project Management.
