Reception Teacher - part-time supply BS7

Start date: ASAP
Location: Bristol
Contract: Fixed term

Your new company

Hays Education are proud to announce we are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable Reception teacher to work at Primary Schools in North Bristol, specifically the BS7 area. The schools in this part of Bristol are dedicated to ensuring the first years of a pupil’s primary school journey are as inclusive and comfortable as possible, so they will be looking for someone who is ready to become an integral part of the primary school journey for the children. The school will be looking for someone with valuable experience and commitment to join their friendly team. Whilst the role will start as temporary, it is often that teachers find they are recruited long-term or even on a permanent basis following their introduction to the school and after being a lasting relationship.

Your new role

This role can be on a full-or part-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for the early years of primary school teaching. The school will be looking for somebody who is strong with intervention experience, particularly in phonics, due to the class curriculum. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the school and Key Stage to form a collaborative team. The school’s ethos is to bring the early years of a child’s education to life with passion and care. If you have a passion for Key Stage 1 Primary Teaching, then this role will be perfect for you.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
  • Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
  • Previous experience with young SEND children is desirable.
  • Previous experience with younger (key stage 1 aged) children

What you'll get in return

• You will be paid a competitive daily wage and holiday pay
• You will receive a free CV and interview advice.
• FREE up-to-date safeguarding training
• Access to our online booking app and work calendar
