1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Position Available in Gloucestershire

A primary school in Gloucestershire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to a pupil with SEN, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and strategies.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and report on the pupil's progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the pupil in developing social skills and independence.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential).
