Hays are looking for an IT Project Manager who is experienced in Infrastructure, Networking and software to be able to manage a range of projects to very large and long-term projects.
****This company requires clear Defence vetting, so it is only open to UK Nationals.****

  • The primary focus of the role is to manage a key critical project for the IT requirements, to ensure that contractual obligations are met on time and to budget.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the internal customers, building a strong and effective stakeholder relationship, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and serving as a basis for repeat projects.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the project from an IT/DT standpoint to deliver the project objectives in a structured and efficient manner.
  • Interface with participating units and external suppliers as needed.
  • Managing the commercial, technical, and quality issues on the project.
  • Creating, maintaining, and driving progress against a project plan
  • Always ensuring compliance with processes and procedures. Strictly adhere to all security guidelines mandated for this role.
  • Carrying out project reviews to control projects, check progress, manage cost, identify deviations from plan, detect risk and forecast future performance. One of the key requirements of this role is to manage change and evolution.
