Head of Software Development – SaaS Provider – £80,000 to £90,000 plus benefits – Hybrid - South Yorkshire
A sector-leading technology business providing SaaS products in the B2B sector to customers across the UK and Europe is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Software Development to lead their growing development team and drive the technical execution of their ambitious product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and mentor front-end and back-end development teams.
- Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Champion Agile methodologies and optimise development processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the product roadmap.
- Define and implement an appropriate Testing and QA framework
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
- React.js, Node.js, and Azure.
- Demonstrated success in leading development teams and delivering complex software solutions.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience managing stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practice in DevOps.
- Practical experience with test automation tools and integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Postman
