Buyer opportunity with a reputable manufacturing business in Deeside - great benefits package
Your new company
I am working with a major manufacturing company in Deeside to help them recruit an experienced Buyer into their growing team. Due to sustained success and significant investment into the business, they are expanding their headcount across all areas, so it's a great time to join the company. They also offer some impressive perks, outlined in the ad below.
Your new role
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the efficient procurement activity across a variety of category areas, giving you exposure to a wide portfolio of spend categories - it could be anything from stationery, to ICT, facilities, subcontractors and anything in-between. You will be working alongside an established team of Procurement Managers, Buyers, a Senior Buyer and a Procurement Assistant, so you'll have a great network of support around you. You will strive to deliver value for money and deliver cost savings, which will entail leading on negotiations with the company's suppliers. You will conduct supplier reviews and appraisals to ensure that contracts / agreements are fit for purpose and remain commercially competitive. The Buyer will also work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to provide sound procurement guidance and sourcing support which ensures that value for money is achieved in all areas of the business.
