Hays are pleased to be working with this client on an exclusive basis, who are offering a 9-month full-time Accounts Assistant contract.
Your new role


  • Reconciliation of Bank and Cash Accounts
  • Processing Intercompany Journal Entries for Manual Invoices
  • Prepayments
  • Managing Accruals for Cash Transactions
  • Oversight of Fixed Assets
  • Calculation and Posting of Central Cost Accruals
  • Conducting Rent Reviews
  • Evaluating Repairs and Maintenance: Expenses
  • Posting of Assets and Depreciation Entries
  • Execution of Bank Payments
  • Any other duties required by the wider finance function



What you'll need to succeed

You will have excellent knowledge and experience of all-round accounts. The ideal candidate would have excellent Excel and will have previously used SAGE, and display good communication skills and have a pro-active approach to ensure the job is done to a high standard. You will ideally be immediately available or on short notice.
