Hays Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable primary supply teacher to work in Bristol. This role would be working full time within schools in the BS14 area. The role enables you to work in the South Bristol area throughout your placement as a supply teacher. It may be required for you to teach various year groups during your time in the school, which we can arrange for the school to timetable where appropriate. You can choose when you want by updating your availability with the Hays Hub; work will then be scheduled on the days you make yourself available. Communicating with your consultant has never been easier as you can call, text or email dependent on your preferred method. Hays works very closely with a lot of schools in the South Bristol area, so we are looking for teachers who want to work in this area specifically.

Your new role

Supply teaching jobs can be as much as a whole term and can sometimes lead to permanent positions. This role in particular is for an adaptable teacher who can cover different absence needs throughout the rest of the academic year. The role is ideal for teachers looking to build key relationships in the South Bristol area. This will enable you to build a strong relationship with the staff and pupils; the role is open to ECTs. Supply work responsibilities can vary, so your duties will be ascertained before starting so that you can be remunerated appropriately. This role would be perfect for somebody that’s looking for variety in their day-to-day job but would like to keep the location the same each day. This is a fantastic opportunity to build lasting relationships with popular South Bristol schools.

What you'll need to succeed


To be right for this role, you will need to have qualified teacher status and relevant teaching experience within a classroom setting in the last two years. You should be a creative and adaptable teacher with strong classroom management skills.
