Teacher of Economics and Business Studies - Maternity Cover at Penistone Grammar School

Penistone Grammar School has a maternity cover vacancy for a full-time (part-time also considered) Teacher of Economics and Business Studies and are seeking a teacher with the enthusiasm and drive to join our incredible Business Team.

Contract: Full-time, Fixed term for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave (part-time considered)
Salary Range: MPS/UPS (TLR2: £3390 per annum allowance may be available for an exceptional candidate)
Start Date: 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026

For an exceptional candidate looking to develop your leadership knowledge, skills, and expertise there is a possible TLR role as Second in Department.

Business Studies and Economics are extremely popular subjects at KS4 and KS5 and the successful candidate will have previous experience of teaching both GCSE and A Level; AQA A Level experience is particularly advantageous along with any 2nd in department experience.
