3 month Recruitment Advisor role Hybrid in Exeter full time

Your new company

Working for a government organisation within their head office.

This role is full-time Monday–Friday–35 hours per week.
Hourly rate is £20.68 per hour.
The role is initially for 3 months but this could be extended depending on company requirements.
This position allows you to work from home 2 days per week on a Tuesday and Thursday and work from the office Mon/Wed/Friday ideally.

Your new role

• Provide a professional recruitment advisory service, managing efficient and effective campaigns that achieve the expectations of the business and meet agreed KPIs.
• Support and coach managers ensuring the correct application of the recruitment policy and procedure.
• Attract a diverse range of applicants by utilising candidate attraction methods that are accessible to all.
• Manage individual recruitment campaigns ensuring legal/GDPR compliance and the full utilisation of the Applicant Tracking System including the agency portal.
• Follow up with managers post campaign to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Develop your individual presence on relevant media platforms and promote and participate in recruitment networking opportunities.
• Support Hiring Managers with the assessment and selection process, including agreeing the assessment process and interview questions ahead of advertising.
• Maintain a medium-term horizon of forthcoming recruitment campaigns providing sufficient opportunity to plan with relevant managers.
• Manage talent-pools linked to your business areas and develop department specific talent pipelines.
• Develop a clear understanding of the business, including the content of key strategies and business plans, to maximise effectiveness as an internal Recruitment Advisor.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with recruitment agencies and ensure all agency vacancies are promoted and managed via the Applicant Tracking System.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience of managing recruitment campaigns as an in-house recruiter or at a commercial recruitment agency.
• Experience of using recruitment systems.
• Proven experience of managing a high volume of vacancies across a broad sector range.
• Proven experience of designing effective recruitment campaigns.
• Experience of stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools such as Competency based Interviews and on-line ability and psychometric testing.
• Up to date knowledge of all requirements that relate to recruitment activity.
• Proven experience of working within a customer service environment.
• A flexible approach with an ability to handle a range of projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
