Join one of the UK's fastest-growing firms!

Your new company

One of the UK's fastest-growing firms, both nationally and in Central London, combining established firms with a pioneering brand. Your new company, with over three decades' experience in Central London, has a fantastic reputation amongst both its staff and client base, both for the training and progression opportunities, and for the high-calibre work produced.

Despite the firm's consistently high ranking in the UK Top 100, the 'family firm' culture remains at its heart. As such, this is a fantastic home for an ambitious accountant who wants the calibre of work and opportunity associated with a large corporate firm, with all the cultural perks of an independently run practice.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Audit Journals and Statutory Accounts: Process audit journals and prepare statutory accounts, ensuring all necessary notes and disclosures are included. Familiarity with FRS102 and FRS is beneficial.

  • Corporation Tax Returns: Prepare corporation tax returns, including detailed computations for capital allowances.

  • Training and Feedback: Assist in training junior staff members and provide constructive feedback to support their development.

  • Ad Hoc Accounting Support: Offer occasional ad hoc assistance with various accounting assignments, such as preparing cashflow forecasts or conducting due diligence reports.

  • Client Liaison: Maintain direct communication with clients to address their needs and provide professional advice.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in your new role, you'll ideally possess an ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification, with previous audit experience gained in an accounting firm.

What you'll get in return

In return, you'll receive a competitive £50-56K salary, hybrid working, and a host of benefits, including:

  • Pension Scheme: Secure your future with our comprehensive pension plan.
  • Group Life Assurance: Enjoy peace of mind with life assurance coverage, four times your salary.
  • Health Insurance: Access health insurance benefits after a qualifying period.
  • Quarterly Functions and Events: Participate in regular social events and functions.
  • Employee Benefits Portal: Benefit from cashback and vouchers on everyday purchases through our portal.
  • Employee Assistance Programme: Receive support through our dedicated assistance programme.
  • Employee Referral Bonus: Help us find talented individuals and earn a referral bonus.
  • Training and Development: Engage in continuous development and support for both your professional qualifications and personal goals.
