Your new role
- Serve as the primary finance liaison for General Managers.
- Oversee the purchase ledger, handling invoice processing and payment runs.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate Trial Balance entries.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure precise VAT returns, financial reports, and adherence to company policies.
- Support payroll reviews, expense management, and drive efficiency improvements.
- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors, managing finance system setups for new team members.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Xero, ApprovalMax, Pleo, and Datamolino.
- A reputation for honesty, integrity, and reliability.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Discretion and an understanding of handling confidential company information.
- A collaborative team player.
