A Level 3 qualified TA is needed in Wolverhampton, supporting in nursery from ASAP in the summer term.

Your new role

As a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating the school's youngest learners. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and develop foundational skills through play and structured activities. Your role will involve:
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3–4 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, providing regular updates and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Curriculum.
  • Ability to support the use of technology in the classroom.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
