You will be working for a high-profile central government organisation who are looking for an SC Cleared Benefits Lead. Please only apply if you have an active SC Clearance
Your new role
- Identifying, validating, baselining, profiling, planning, tracking, and reporting on benefits related to the Matrix programme.
- Developing and managing processes and toolkits to support effective benefits enablement and realisation.
- Leading and inspiring senior managers to achieve improvement journey outcomes.
- Collaborating with the PMO team to track interdependencies and realisation plans.
- Establishing best practice benefits management activities and building capability across the team.
- Ensuring benefit owners are in place and benefits are communicated, understood, and managed.
- Conducting benefit reviews to provide assurance to governance boards.
- Delivering benefits reporting to associated governance boards.
- Working with the change team and senior leaders to communicate the necessary changes to delivering improvement outcomes.
- Managing and reporting on risks that may impact benefit realisation.
What you'll need to succeed
- A project delivery qualification as defined in the Government Project Delivery Capability Framework Benefits Manager (PDCF) or significant experience in Benefits Management.
- Civil Service experience
- Expertise and experience in benefits management across a complex portfolio.
- Experience with assurance of HMT Five Case Model compliant business cases.
- Inclusive, influential, and positive leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to improve organisational capability and champion benefits best practice.
- Analytical skills to provide constructive challenge on benefits plans/business cases.
- Consideration of the bigger picture and potential impacts.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
