About the role

This school is seeking a proactive and dedicated School Premises Officer to join their team. This role involves overseeing the management, maintenance, and security of the school premises, contributing to the smooth operation of daily activities. The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring the school environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the school site is secure, clean, and safe at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections and carry out basic maintenance and repairs.
  • Oversee the upkeep of the school grounds and facilities.
  • Manage access to the premises, including opening and locking up the site.
  • Coordinate with contractors and external service providers when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and health and safety checks.
  • Respond to emergencies and unexpected situations efficiently.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
