Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Crawley

Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanent position)

Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students and maintaining a positive learning environment? Join our dynamic and forward-thinking educational institution as a Cover Supervisor. This temporary assignment, starting in September, has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. You will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning by managing classrooms and delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom activities effectively.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and respect.
  • Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in school activities.
Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, with strong classroom management skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
