The company pride themselves on maintaining high standards in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) across all of their operations, and are now looking for a dedicated professional to join the intimate team and uphold these values.

Your new role

As a SHEQ Officer, you’ll take on a full-time, permanent position where you’ll play a key role in ensuring company-wide compliance with SHEQ policies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and updating company SHEQ policies, preparing and managing annual audits (ISO9001, ISO14001, and Safe T Cert), producing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) along with other project-specific health and safety documentation, and overseeing technical submittals, O&M manuals, and drawing revisions. You’ll be a vital part of the team, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a strong understanding of SHEQ principles and experience in managing compliance with a background in construction / M&E. You should be detail-oriented, capable of producing accurate RAMS and health & safety documentation, and skilled in handling technical documentation such as submittals and manuals. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage audits and oversee processes will set you up for success in this position.

What you'll get in return

In return, you’ll enjoy a stable, full-time position with hours of Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm and Friday 8:30am–3:00pm, giving you a great work-life balance. This role is based entirely in Northern Ireland with no travel required, allowing you to work consistently from the Mid-Ulster HQ with some site visits.
