Hays are working exclusively in partnership with this school to find the best Food Technology teacher to join their department for the next academic year. This position is to work alongside the current post holder (part-time) who is planning retirement for the next academic year. This subject is hugely popular with students every year and the attainment level at GCSE is also consistently high.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in DT Food, with a focus on catering.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and fosters student interest.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Have undertaken a PGCE/PGDE in a relevant subject)
• Experience in teaching DT Food, particularly catering, at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
