This position is to work alongside the current post holder (part-time) who is planning retirement for the next academic year. This subject is hugely popular with students every year and the attainment level at GCSE is also consistently high.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of DT Food to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Rotherham. This permanent position involves teaching catering to students, inspiring them to develop their culinary skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in DT Food, with a focus on catering.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and fosters student interest.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Have undertaken a PGCE/PGDE in a relevant subject)

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
