Your new school:
This primary school located in Bristol is in search of a committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 class on a one-to-one basis with a specific SEND student with behavioural needs, until the end of the academic year. This school has an excellent SEND team that you will become a part of. This is a full-time, long-term role in BS8.
Your new role:
Your new role as a Year 3 behavioural specialist Teaching Assistant will consist of providing 1.1 support for a student with behavioural needs. You will need to assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons and activities, monitoring these students and evaluating their behaviour plan, strategies and techniques. You will be this individual’s key person and will be working with them every day from 8.30-3.30.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
- Previous experience with young SEND children
- Good behavioural management techniques
