Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Teacher of English to join our team in Chesterfield. This is a full-time, long-term position lasting until the end of the school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, with a focus on GCSE preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum and exam requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
