My client is a manufacturing company based in South Wales who are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Leader to be part of the senior Management, where you’ll lead and optimise our end-to-end supply chain. This is a great opportunity for someone to take their first step into management of a Supply Chain to develop their career.

Your new role

• Order Management (from order entry to delivery to customer)
• Develop production plans according to order intake, sales forecast, components availability and manufacturing capacity;
• Manage company inventory: develop and implement inventory management strategies to reduce working capital and ensure high service to customers
• Work directly with suppliers
• Be responsible for communication with Sales Units in Europe about status of orders and timely delivery;
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction;
• Key member in a small team;
• Drive optimisation by maximum usage of SAP and other IT tools
• Ensure proper change management while upgrading and implementing new tools & processes;
• Take an active role in the monthly S&OP cycle

What you'll need to succeed

• You must have knowledge and worked in Supply Chain
• Knowledge and use of SAP
• Able to work full-time on-site
• Be a strong communicator at all levels of the organisation
• Confident to work independently
