Create content, writing short and long form copy for online and offline
Your new company
My client are a leading supplier of specialist manufacturing and engineering equipment. Part of the leading multi-brand supplier in Europe, they are growing and expanding whilst maintaining their 'family feel' in the UK. Investing into their Marketing team, we are recruiting the new role of Content Marketing Executive to be based at their Surrey offices 3 days a week.
Your new role
As Content Marketing Executive, your job is to create compelling copy for marketing use. You will manage a content planner, strategically scheduling content to optimise engagement and meet organisational objectives and timelines - both long form and short form copy, for online and offline. You will identify and write compelling and engaging content for each individual business unit, including news stories, blogs, opinion pieces, case studies and internal/external newsletters. You will also work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive to create content for the website and social channels, building brand awareness and encouraging engagement. You will also contribute to PR, working with an agency to create press releases and identify opportunities within the media.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have two to three years of demonstrable experience of creating engaging content, PR and articles for traditional and digital material, with excellence at storytelling and crafting convincing narratives. You will be able to demonstrate strong copywriting skills across multiple platforms, and have an interest in looking at content performance on digital channels to improve how content is engaged with by customers.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including a good pension scheme, increasing holiday entitlement, employee benefits portal, Health Cash plan and a strong culture of career progression - this role will offer training in skills you may have had less exposure to, such as PR, and will offer progression to take a more leading role in content strategy rather than pure execution. You will also have the opportunity to work from home, requiring 3 days a week at their offices near Cranleigh, Surrey (south of Guildford).
