Job Title - SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours - 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:4 until 16:15 - 40 weeks per yearSalary - Dependent upon experience, qualifications and responsibility taken

You will be working with a specialist school that is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive educational environment for young people aged 11–19 years old who may have a range of learning difficulties, including autism and associated needs. Your new role
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage pupils’ confidence and independence.
- Ensure students have access to necessary resources (e.g., materials, assistive technology).
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with young people and special educational needs is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work creatively and flexibly with students with special educational needs to promote autonomy, independence, personal development and employability for all students.
- Form and promote positive relationships with staff, students, parents, the local community and outside agencies
- Compassionate and patient approach
