Your new role
This is an accounts heavy role where you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing year-end, management accounts, VAT and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients working with a range of industries and turnovers, reporting to managers alongside your work. Alongside your accounts work, you will take an active part in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion. You will also be required to develop strong client knowledge and build strong client relationships, providing insightful advice and guidance.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm is seeking a professional accounts semi-senior who possesses previous experience within practice, preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT return as well as some exposure to audit and training junior team members. You will be ACA/ACCA/AAT part-qualified or qualified by experience. To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of accountancy software whilst being eager to learn and progress professionally within the firm, which will allow you to benefit from the comprehensive support on offer
