2nd Line Support Analyst - Contract - 12 Months - Leeds
Hays Technology in Leeds are currently recruiting a 2nd Line Support Analyst to join a local organisation on a temporary basis for an initial 12-month period. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level support for enterprise applications, ensuring smooth operation and quick resolution of issues. This role involves problem-solving, user support, and application maintenance, making it crucial for ensuring business continuity.

On site in Leeds
- Provide day-to-day support for software applications used by the business, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and escalating complex issues to the development team.
- Assist users in resolving issues related to application usage, provide training where necessary, and maintain up-to-date support documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions to the business. Track incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.
- Work closely with internal teams such as IT, developers, and end-users to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of applications.
- Assist in testing application updates, patches, and new releases, ensuring minimal disruption during deployment.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in application support, IT helpdesk, or a related role.
- Experience with enterprise-level applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) is highly desirable.
- The ability to independently learn and understand the applications to be supported.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve technical problems effectively.
