The organisation is a growing and forward-thinking SME-sized manufacturing business based near to Birmingham. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join the team.
Your new role
The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the procurement strategy across the business. The role will lead and develop a small buying and stock control team. The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will review and transform purchasing policies and procedures, including creating supplier SLA's, audit suppliers and manage performance. Additional key focus areas will include strategic sourcing, tender management, stock optimisation and cost management. The post holder will drive change management projects, ensuring they collaborate, communicate and engage with the business.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a proven Procurement Manager with experience of managing and transforming procurement teams. Previous experience of supply chain is also essential. Experience gained within a small or medium-sized manufacturing organisation is vital. You will be CIPS qualified and be able to demonstrate expertise in managing the complete procurement cycle, including international purchasing experience.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 plus bonus and benefits. The organisation is committed to employee development, engagement and well-being.
