Temporary Procurement & Supply Chain Co-ordinator - approximately 9-month contract

A highly commercial and forward-thinking construction organisation. Based near to Bromsgrove in prestigious offices. They are currently recruiting for a temporary Procurement & Supply Chain Co-ordinator on a temporary basis for approximately 9 months. The role will work on a hybrid basis (to be agreed with the manager). A full driving licence and access to a car is essential as some occasional travel will be required.
Your new role
The Procurement & Supply Chain Co-ordinator will work closely with the Procurement Manager and will provide procurement and supply chain support to ensure the delivery of an effective procurement service to the business. Key responsibilities will include issuing contracts, ensuring procurement process compliance from business units, liaising with suppliers and resolving supply chain issues. Additionally, the Procurement & Supply Chain Co-ordinator will review and update processes, monitor supplier performance and organise supplier events. The post holder will also facilitate tender programmes and produce management information reports.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Procurement & Supply Chain Administrator, Assistant or Co-ordinator with strong experience of supporting procurement and supply chain teams. You will have expertise in issuing tender documents and contracts, communicating and monitoring internal compliance with procedures, and monitoring supplier performance. You will be highly organised, analytical and have superb communication skills. You will be available at short notice. What you need to do now
