Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN Unit

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Needed
Hays Education is recruiting on behalf of a secondary SEN school in Tameside for dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or Level 3). Our new SEN unit is opening in September 2025, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in their learning and development.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Level 2 or 3 SEN TA qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a SEN setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
