Your new role

As the Compliance Lead, you will take ownership of the compliance framework across the business, ensuring it remains robust, scalable, and aligned with regulatory expectations. This is a broad and hands-on role, covering everything from regulatory reporting and policy development to horizon scanning and stakeholder training. You will work closely with senior leadership and underwriting teams, providing expert guidance on compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions. Your remit will include liaising with regulators, supporting licencing efforts, and embedding a strong culture of compliance throughout the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

You will bring proven experience in a compliance role within the insurance sector, ideally within an MGA or Lloyd’s environment. A strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements is essential, and exposure to international jurisdictions—such as the EU, US, or Bermuda—will be highly advantageous. You’ll be comfortable operating in a start-up setting, where adaptability, initiative, and a proactive mindset are key. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels will be critical to your success in this role.
