Hays Healthcare are recruiting locum Prison Nurses to work at HMP Lowdham Grange.
Your new role
Band 5-6 Registered General Nurses
Working hours: Shifts negotiable with the service
Start Date: ASAP – ongoing, rota available until July
As part of the dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare to the inmates at HMP Lowdham Grange.
Respond promptly to and attend emergency calls within the prison.
Work in the prison reception, completing initial assessments and supporting new arrivals.
Hold nurse-led clinics, delivering high-quality care to prisoners with a range of healthcare needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
Previous experience in a prison and valid clearance is a must (prison clearance is not provided)
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
